Leaving on a Jetplane

Welcome. Hope things are well. Here's a before pic. As you know, I'm leaving on Saturday for LA for 5 weeks of teaching training and then heading over to Czech Republic in late August. I'll be posting my pictures throughout the year on this website, so hope you enjoy the little taste of my last little trip and look forward to seeing some more extravagent pictures of some old old places. Feel free to email or post comments or anything. I'll be able stay in contact through the year by email. Please keep me in your prayers. Thanks for everything.
After round 1 pic :)

My last hoorah in the states

Well, I figured that I'm not going to be drivin a lot next year, so I decided to make one last road trip before I set out to get all the driving I could get out for a year. And I did. Just spent the past two weeks driving all around the Northeast, Canada included. Fun times were had by all (all being me that is.) It was a solo adventure. Met some nice fools and ate some good clam chowder. I'll share some pics with you. This post is more a trial post before I head out. I leave in two weeks to spend 5 weeks in L.A. doing training stuff. I'll be there until the mid-late August. We'll be heck of busy though these next 5 weeks, so it's going to be like I'm leaving now. Anyways, enjoy the sights I enjoyed these past 2 weeks relaxing and driving a lot.

Pictures of the Mackinac bridge that connects the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to the lower main part of the state. Pretty cool bridge, and only a portion of my toll fees were charged here.

New York fun

Nice pic at Central Park. Part of the city in the background.

A buddhist monk we saw hanging out with his family.

Some nice little shots of the Falls at Niagara. Cute little place, bunch of Asian tourists though.

The Red Sox game was freakin packed out and an awesome little city. Best stadium to go to for the whole baseball spirit deal. Good times.

Toronto and beyond from the top of the CN Tower.
Touchdown Jesus at Notre Dame. Notre Dame was way freakin cool.
